Following a simplistic and refined aesthetic, these Veja V-12 Leather Shoes have smooth leather uppers, rubber accents and a recycled polyester lining. The monochrome colour scheme allows for a highly versatile aesthetic than can be worn all year round thanks to the carefully selected materials and durable construction. Contrasting black ‘V’ branding can be found on either outer panel, made from rubber, and the heels have black tips and white ‘Veja’ branding printing on top. The slim tongue wraps around the top of the foot and a cotton lace up fastening ensures a secure fit. The insole is made from wild rubber blended with other synthetic materials and the natural coloured sole is also made using wild Amazonian rubber.
Designed in Paris and manufactured using sustainable production sourced from around Brazil, Veja have set out to redesign the footwear industry to promote conservation of natural materials and areas, suitable living and working conditions for employees and new ways to recycle, reuse and make suitable materials without inflicting damage upon the planet.
